Sometimes the most profound gift is space for others to reflect. Echo fits significant occasions: guests and attendees write today; the words arrive years later as a time capsule by letter.
For a single Echo for one person, see Echo as a gift. This page is for sets at weddings, events, and milestones.
"For our wedding, we bought several Echo vouchers. Instead of a standard guestbook, our friends wrote to us in the future. Reading their wishes and predictions 5 years later brought us instantly back to that day."
How to run Echo for an occasion
You buy the vouchers, set the frame, and let guests or your team write in peace. Here is how it works:
- Buy vouchers: As many as you need. Each covers a full Echo with a one-time fee: storage, printing, and Swiss Post.
- Share the codes: Every voucher has its own code.
- Explain briefly: One sentence is often enough: "Write us / yourself a letter that arrives by post in X years."
- They write and we deliver: Recipients write digitally and choose the delivery date. You do not print or mail anything yourself.
When it fits especially well
- Weddings: Instead of a guestbook: a memory, wish, or prediction you open on later anniversaries.
- Corporate and team building: Reflection, goals, or feedback after a retreat or project, scheduled for the future.
- Anniversaries and birthdays: Guests share stories or advice that arrive in the mailbox years later.
Tips for you as the host
- Make clear who the letter is for: the couple, each guest's future self, or the team.
- Optionally suggest the same horizon (for example five years) so many letters arrive around the same time.
- Keep length and tone open. Forcing long texts puts people off.
- Plan a quiet moment or a clear cue on the day, or codes get lost in the event rush.
Common pitfalls
- Treating it like a paper guestbook: Echo is digital at the event, physical only years later. Say that once.
- Unclear recipient: Couple, self, or team: without clarity, guests write past each other.
- Too little context: One sentence on the card helps more than a long speech.
